What is Juvederm Voluma XC?
Voluma™ in an injectable hyaluronic acid dermal filler, developed to be much smoother than other hyaluronic acid fillers. This filler is easier to inject, and results in a smooth, natural look and feel. If you have lost volume, ermal fillers can be used to restore facial areas and to give youthful curve to the cheeks, and can be used to enhance the overall shape of your face.
How Long Does it Last?
Juvederm Voluma™ was developed with VYCROSS technology to deliver a natural look and feel, with results proven to last up to 18 months.
Will The Procedure Hurt?
A topical numbing cream and injectable lidocaine block can be offered by our experienced medical staff. The smooth consistency of the products allows our injector to administer Voluma™ easily and smoothly. This filler also contains lidocaine to reduce injection pain (The “XC”) , giving patients the most comfortable possible experience.
What are the Side Effects?
Following filler injection, you may experience slight redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection area. These side effects should not last for more than a week. Please contact our office if you have any concerns about swelling or bruising at the injection site.
